Conservation Architects, Technicians & Project Architects

An exciting increase in new heritage, residential and commercial projects throughout Scotland provides an opportunity for talented individuals to join a growing practice. We are seeking a Conservation Architects, Technicians & Project Architects to join our friendly team at our new office in Perth.

We are seeking Accredited Conservation Architects, Technicians & Project Architects with approx. 3-5 years practical experience to take the lead on exciting new projects and engage directly with clients. This is an opportunity to develop a career within a growing practice and be involved in projects from inception to completion.

Our portfolio includes a variety of bespoke residential and commercial projects for private clients, developers, estates and both local and multi-national businesses and organisations. We work in urban and rural contexts providing the opportunity for design skills to be stretched.

We have developed a reputation for high quality design, efficient delivery of projects and excellent client satisfaction. Team members are encouraged to promote this, bringing their own interests and experience forward. Creative thinking and new ideas are always welcome.

Candidates should demonstrate the following:

Conservation Roles:

  • Accreditation with a relevant organisation (RIAS/RIBA etc.)
  • Experience in preparation of:
    • Conservation Condition Survey Reports
    • Conservation Management Plans
    • Detailing
    • Grant Applications

All applicants:

  • Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT & Adobe Creative Suite
  • 3d rendering skills (Lumion, SketchUp etc.)
  • Strong IT, graphic and communication skills
  • Excellent design skills
  • Proficient technical knowledge
  • Creative thinking & problem solving
  • Can work independently with motivation, commitment and attention to detail
  • Interest in growth and development of the practice
